Students in Microsoft IT Academies benefit from world-class Microsoft curriculum and software tools to tackle real-world challenges in the classroom environment. In this course, students will learn to use Microsoft Office 2013 to create, enhance, customize and share complex spreadsheets and databases. Participation in Future Business Leaders of America (FBLA) is encouraged to reinforce the skills learned in the course.

The honors version of this course covers the material in greater complexity and acceleration. It will be more demanding and have requirements beyond those of standard Career-Technical courses. Students will be challenged with an emphasis on problem solving and critical analysis. Students will be required to demonstrate their learning through performances, presentations, demonstrations, applications, processes and products.
